Webflow Ecommerce plans and fees explained (2026)

Webflow Ecommerce has three plans. Standard is $29/mo billed yearly ($42 monthly) with a 2% transaction fee. Plus is $74 ($84) and Advanced is $212 ($235), both with 0%. Prices are in USD per site, plus tax, and Stripe or PayPal processing fees come on top. All three now list unlimited sales volume. The main differences are the transaction fee, item limits (500 / 5,000 / 15,000), staff accounts and email branding.
Webflow’s pricing page is long, and plan comparisons online are often out of date. Here’s what Webflow Ecommerce costs right now (checked 7 October 2026), what you pay on top, and how to choose.
How much does Webflow Ecommerce cost?
| Plan | Billed yearly | Billed monthly | Transaction fee | Ecommerce items | Staff accounts |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | $29/mo | $42/mo | 2% | 500 | 3 |
| Plus | $74/mo | $84/mo | 0% | 5,000 | 10 |
| Advanced | $212/mo | $235/mo | 0% | 15,000 | 15 |
Prices are USD, per site, per month, plus applicable taxes. These are site plans: if your site already has a site plan, adding an Ecommerce plan upgrades it, and you can only enable checkout on one of the three Ecommerce plans.
What every plan includes
All three list: custom cart and checkout design, Stripe, PayPal and Apple Pay/web payments, automatic tax calculation, unlimited sales volume, Meta and Google Shopping integrations, Mailchimp for forms, custom code, custom shipping rules, and email customisation.
What the upgrades add
- No transaction fee (Plus and Advanced)
- More ecommerce items: 5,000 or 15,000
- More staff accounts: 10 or 15
- Unbranded emails: no Webflow branding in transactional email footers
What is Webflow’s 2% transaction fee?
On Ecommerce Standard, Webflow takes 2% of each sale, in addition to Stripe or PayPal processing fees. On Plus and Advanced it’s 0%.
On £5,000 of monthly sales, that 2% is £100 a month, more than the plan itself.
What payment fees do I pay on top?
Webflow Ecommerce supports two payment providers: Stripe and PayPal (with Apple Pay, Google Pay and Microsoft Pay via Stripe). Their fees are separate from Webflow’s. UK rates as listed on 7 Oct 2026:
| Provider | Rate |
|---|---|
| Stripe: standard UK cards | 1.5% + 20p |
| Stripe: premium UK cards | 2.8% + 20p |
| Stripe: EEA cards | 2.5% + 20p |
| Stripe: international cards | 3.15% + 20p (+2% if currency conversion is needed) |
| PayPal: standard UK commercial rate | 2.9% + 30p |
So a £40 order paid by a standard UK card on Ecommerce Standard costs you £0.80 (Stripe) + £0.80 (Webflow 2%) = £1.60.
When is it worth upgrading to Plus?
The break-even is simple: upgrade when 2% of your monthly sales is more than the extra cost of Plus.
On yearly billing the difference is $45/month (about £34 at the ECB rate of 0.753 on 6 Oct 2026). 2% of sales passes that at roughly £1,700 a month in sales. Above that, Plus is cheaper even before the higher item limit.
Run it with your own numbers, including monthly vs yearly billing, PayPal share and card mix, in our Webflow Ecommerce fee calculator.
Other reasons to upgrade regardless of sales:
- you’re close to 500 items (remember every variant counts; see Webflow Ecommerce limits)
- you need more than 3 staff accounts
- you want unbranded order emails
What other costs should I budget for?
- Tax/VAT: Webflow prices are plus applicable taxes
- Currency conversion: Webflow bills in USD; your card may add a fee
- Domain: bought separately
- Apps and integrations: e.g. Zapier, Shippo, a pop-up tool, or an admin panel like Flowcommander
- Design/build time: the big one if you’re hiring an agency
Is Webflow Ecommerce cheaper than Shopify?
On fees alone, often not, especially with Shopify Payments. Shopify UK lists Basic at £19/mo billed yearly with card rates from 2% + 25p. But fees aren’t the whole story: design control, your existing site and migration costs matter more for most Webflow stores. We cover it properly in Webflow vs Shopify: when each one wins.
Quick decision guide
- Just starting, under ~£1,700/month in sales, under 500 items? Standard.
- Selling more than that, or need more items/staff? Plus.
- Big catalogue (5,000+ items) or 10+ staff? Advanced.
